Land Rover releases an update for the Range Rover in 2012, which include the external design changes, as well as numerous upgrades and additional proposals for a model Vogue and Autobiography. British automaker's luxury SUV gets even more reliable and more convenient, and revised engines offer impressive performance at under stringent Euro 5 emissions to limit CO2.
 



According to the director of the brand Land Rover , John Edwards, thanks to the new configuration, the updated design and optional equipment packages, the 2012 luxury SUV comes with more comfort and performance.
 


Range Rover Vogue 2012 offers a new design accents and powerful 1200-watt infotainment system, heating and cooling for each of the seats and 8-inch monitor for navigation and multimedia systems. In addition, the changes for Vogue 2012 model year include a revised front bumper, grille, side skirts, rear bumper and exhaust tip stainless steel.
 

For the Range Rover Autobiography 2012, the automaker offers three additional packages - «Prestige», «Dynamic» and «Technology», which can be booked together or separately.
  • Prestige - offers additional color painting;
  • Dynamic - wheels with 20-inch alloy wheels;
  • Technology - adds a 1200-watt audio, and four-zone air conditioning.
Under the hood of the updated SUV offers a number of productive and efficient powertrains.
 


Designed specifically for the Range Rover , a powerful 4.4-liter diesel engine LR-TDV8 develops 313 horsepower at 4,000 rpm and 700 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 3,000 rpm. The power unit consumes just 7.8 diesel fuel, making it one of the most efficient engines in 2011. Together with eight high-speed transmission ZF 8HP70, harmful CO2 emissions is 253 grams per kilometer.
 

Petrol Supercharged LR-V8 delivers impressive performance. Power 510 hp is available in a range of 6000-6500 rpm and maximum torque of 625 Nm from 2500 to 5500 rev / min. Worthy features of the power unit can disperse an updated Range Rover in 2012 to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.9 seconds.
