MASERATI GRANTURISMO S MC SPORT LINE

The Maserati GranTurismo S MC Sport Line limited edition, featuring a matte white finish "gloss" is shown here in front of the futuristic structure of Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, which held its launch at a special event that brought together a select group of Maserati clients from the Middle East.

Designed to enhance the sporty nature of the Trident, the MC Sport Line edition offers a synthesis of experience on the track by the Maserati racing department, whose contribution to the design of the functional components has been invaluable. The world of motor racing also inspired the designers of the company during the draft, which explains the abundant use of carbon fiber.

The right motor sports atmosphere is also found in the interior again. Even when entering the door sill panels made of carbon with MC Sport Line logo are striking, as is the matching interior inserts in the doors, the dashboard and center console. The high-tech material is used, among other things in the spokes of the steering wheel, shift paddles on the dashboard and used.

For the GranTurismo S MC Sport Line new front and rear spoiler lips covers in matt black carbon. By the side skirts from the black miracle fabric's appearance is further accentuated. To complete the look of door handles and mirror caps, also matte black carbon. These are perfectly complemented by 20-inch wheels in black.

Also in the program is an even tauter sport suspension. It has stiffer springs and shock absorbers, additional stabilizers. Parallel to the changes to the hardware was also the control of the MSP (Maserati Stability Program) adapted, designed specifically for the new suspension tuning. In addition to the tighter suspension, the revised suspension also ensures lowered by ten millimeters. All components of the new MC Sport Line can be used both as a package or individually ordered.

Only twelve copies of the GranTurismo will be produced at the factory in Modena and all are destined for markets in the Middle East. Why twelve? In honor of World titles listed in the prestigious list of the MC12 evolving in the International GT Championship (sanctioned by the FIA) since 2005: two trophies manufacturers (2005 and 2007), four trophies drivers (Bertolini-Bartels in 2006, Thomas Biagi in 2007, Bertolini-Bartels in 2008 and 2009); five team titles (2005 and 2009 with Team Vitaphone) and one Citation Cup (Ben Aucott 2007).

Moreover, there are twelve cities of the Middle East with a Maserati dealership. Each copy will have a plaque with the name of the city to which it is dedicated.
