HYUNDAI LANG DONG

10th anniversary of the cooperation and the production of Hyundai in China coincided with the China 2012 auto show in Beijing, where the Korean manufacturer introduced a sedan Elantra, renamed Langdong.

Langdong name can be translated as a dynamic, youth car of new generation, based on some of the best selling cars around the world. Along with third generation Santa Fe , Hyundai plans to increase the number of proposals and image in China.

The streamlined design of the sedan Hyundai Langdong is based on the concept of Craft, which, like all predecessors since 2009, made in the style of the so-called "Fluid Sculpture". With its overall dimensions (length, width, height 4690 mm / 1880 mm / 1680 mm) and wheelbase of 2700 mm, the manufacturer calls the compact sedan car, while he Langdong provides comfort, practicality and comfort of the medium sized car.
Of the facilities in the base car Langdong available in two-zone fully automatic climate control, navigation system, ventilated seats with temperature control, LCD display and push button start, with which the driver can start the vehicle without using the ignition. Just sedan comes with an infotainment system Blue Link, from behind which there is a wide range of services and security features, messaging and remote control.
Under the hood of the car Langdong from Hyundai will be offered one of the two engines to choose from:

• 1.6 liter engine capacity of 127 horsepower and 155 Nm of torque;
• 1.8-liter engine develops 146 horsepower and 174 Nm of torque.

 

 

Typically, when it comes to safety, the representatives of Hyundai blush is not necessary, because, as its predecessors Langdong sedan received the highest safety rating and offers three basic active and passive safety systems, including:

1. cushions and side curtain airbags;
2. collision warning;
3. informer of the pressure in each of the vehicle tires.

Langdong sedan will be available in the second half of 2012 on a new (third) Hyundai plant in Beijing, which is expected within the framework of the joint cooperation of Beijing Hyundai substantially raise production capacity to one million units produced.
