ABARTH 500 R3T




We already knew the 500 Abarth fan of racing on the circuit, the chip that's supercharged today unveiled its interest in the rally, with this version R3T presented at the San Remo Rally.
f it is no longer part of the World Championship WRC , the legendary San Remo Rally calendar now appears in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC). A parallel competition in which contributes Abarth, via a Grande Punto S2000.


In these circumstances, the presentation of a new model of competition on the occasion of the great Italian Mass rallystique not surprising.

After her older sister, is now the small 500 who is broken down into a bombinette ready to eat all types of terrain. And as its variant on track Abarth 500 Assetto Corse , the R3T endorsed the creation of a future trophy for both drivers and private Loeb budding and whose planned for launch in the next year.


Based on the Abarth 500, the 1.4 R3T sees his climb to 180 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Being strong on honest, always coupled with a weight content (1,080 kg), a 6-speed sequential gearbox and limited slip differential, should allow the Transalpine make sparks in the special.

The rest are more or less standard in the category R3T, with the full range of aesthetic circumstances outside (front bumper specific, long-range projector, 17 wheels Oz "...), as in the cabin (ROPS certified FIA 6-point harness with bucket or hydraulic hand brake).

Abarth will probably give us more information at the official launch of the tropy.
