2011 Dacia Duster No Limit

DACIA DUSTER NO LIMIT

Dacia did not come empty-handed in Frankfurt, as the Romanian firm exposed the monstrous Duster "No Limit". This vehicle specially prepared for the famous hill climb Pikes Peak has very little to do with the Duster series.

The fiber body, decked aerodynamic elements typical of the vehicles involved in Pikes Peak (extra-large front splitter and rear wing disproportionate), incorporates the features of the SUV. Below we find a tubular chassis and wheel drive and the engine of the Nissan GT-R! For the occasion, the V6 3.8 biturbo has had its power increased from 485 to 850 horses. What worries the move without 950 kg of the beast.

For its first participation, which is more in the premier class "no limit", this extreme Duster piloted by Jean-Philippe Dayraut was third (at 10'17 "). Before we find the stars of the event, Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima (Suzuki Sport boss) and Rhys Millen.

This very good result encourages Dacia to renew its participation next year with a version of its Sharper monster.
