AUDI TT RS PLUS





German automaker releases a new Audi TT RS plus 2013 model year, which is even faster and more powerful and, as always, available in Coupe and Roadster versions. The developer could add to already familiar 2.5-liter engine an additional 20 horsepower, which makes the car owner of a 360-horsepower engine, capable of little more than four seconds to disperse the 2013 Audi TT RS Plus to a speed of 100 kilometers per hour.
External differences between the new models include the grille, the frame is brushed aluminum color, made of carbon fiber hull side mirrors and black exhaust pipes oval. In the engine compartment, the engine gets carbon fiber trim, and in the interior of the shifter has a logo of Audi TT RS plus.
 



Five-cylinder turbocharged TFSI powerplant is equipped with a 2.5-liter direct fuel injection and develops 360 horsepower with torque of 465 newton-meters, which is 15 Nm more than its predecessor. The engine is paired with either a six-speed manual transmission, or a quick seven-speed S-Tronic . Maximum speed of the new TT RS plus, Audi limits at around 280 kilometers per hour and for the coupe and roadster for any of the transmissions and Quattro permanent four-wheel drive is electronically controlled and transmits engine torque to all wheels.
Coupe Audi TT RS plus with the S Tronic - a car weighing 1450 pounds - accelerates from zero to sixty miles per hour in 4.1 seconds and a manual transmission time increases to 4.3 sec. roadster with the mechanics of doing the same in 4.4 seconds, and with an effective S Tronic - for 4.2 seconds. According to the automaker, the average fuel consumption of the Roadster is 8.6 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers, and the coupe, after the conquest of one hundred miles in the tank will miss 8.5 liters of fuel.

Price 2013 Audi TT RS plus

For the automotive market in Germany on the car, the following prices:
  • Coupe with manual transmission - 60 650 euros;
  • Coupe with S-Tronic - 62 800 euros;
  • Roadster with manual transmission - 63 500 euros;
  • Roadster with S-Tronic - 65,650 euros.
Increased capacity of the engine helps to tame the high-performance brake system with 4-piston calipers and perforated brake discs at the front axle and the wheel of the new Audi TT RS plus combine a 19-inch alloy wheels with five spokes black and red rim, shod in low profile sports tires in size 255/35 .
As an option, Audi offers the installation of a Magnetic Ride, whose work is represented in the video below, and to increase downforce on the rear axle, the 2013 TT RS plus has a large rear spoiler. The exhaust system is equipped with a TT RS plus valve, which further enhances the sporty effect when working 5-cylinder engine.
