RINSPEED iCHANGE CONCEPT




As we announced in a previous news, the company Helvetian Rinspeed present at the Motor Show of Geneva's iChange concept, the first electric car whose architecture adapts to the number of passengers.

According to Frank Rinderknecht, CEO of Rinspeed, the iChange goes further than just intelligent vehicle and shows the fundamental changes coming in the automotive industry.



Thus, by pressing a button, the iChange changes from a sports car to a vehicle that can accommodate three passengers.

In terms of performance, the electric motor fitted to the iChange is able to develop up to 150 kW or 204 hp, reaches a speed of 220 km / h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.2 seconds. A lithium-ion battery pack gives the vehicle a maximum range of 90 km.

For driving, the vehicle meets the guidelines that sends an application on the Apple iPhone.
