TOYOTA AQUA
The 42nd Tokyo Motor Show promises to be eventful. Toyota there is talk about him with the presentation of the Aqua, a small city car hybrid.
In Tokyo, Toyota Aqua debuted on the international stage.
With an original look that shows the codes of the range hybrid house, this small city versatile arises as the youngest of the family Prius, but also and especially as an alternative to rival Honda Jazz Hybrid .
Inspired by the concept Prius C , the Aqua plays its small size (3.99 m long) and adopts a style aerodynamic enough to seduce.
Under the hood, there is a small block 1.5 coupled with an electric motor that will consume the vicinity of 2.8 l/100 km according to the first tests in Japan.
For now, Toyota said no more on this small Aqua. Its launch is planned for December 2011 in Japan before heading out to conquer the world.
